We want to hear your ideas on how
partnering with us will help the women of WIN.

Become a supporter

As a sponsor, you pledge to contribute a monthly fee to support one individual woman in our yearlong program of job readiness training, employability, independent living skills, and daily emotional support. Your monthly contributions will help to prepare participants for full-time employment in the community, so they can become self-confident, self-supporting, and permanently independent from their abusers. Perhaps more importantly, the emotional support that sponsorship provides serves as a lifeline to a woman who may have otherwise lost everything.

Partnering with us means joining forces to help survivors of domestic abuse achieve major, lasting improvements in their lives. Make a monthly gift of any amount.

Adorers Logo

In 1997, Newman University faculty members Sister Susan Reeves, of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, and Sister Glenda Reimer, of the Sisters of Charity launched Wichita Women’s Initiative Network. By providing emotional support, job readiness training and employment opportunities, Wichita WIN helps women domestic violence survivors become financially self-sufficient, so they can break the cycle of financial dependence on their abusers. Adorers continue to serve on the WIN board and have been staff members and volunteers.
