Karen Schmidt is the Executive Director of Wichita Women’s Initiative Network. She is responsible for the overall management of the agency, all aspects of the agency’s operations and financial objectives along with assuring the consistent achievement of the agency’s mission. Schmidt is a licensed master’s level social worker with 19 years of experience, which includes 11 years in management and administration.
Amber Beck is WIN’s Account Manager, in charge of WIN products sales and employment partnerships. She has a bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in management from Wichita State University. Amber has 8 years working with non-profits.
Alishea English-Harris is WIN’s Case Manager, providing direct services to program participants and assisting with setting the necessary goals for financial independence. She has a master’s degree in social work and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Wichita State University.
Judy Conkling is WIN’s Development Director. She has a bachelor’s degree in foods and nutrition science from Kansas State University, and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Wichita State University.
Kristy Youngers is WIN’s Project Coordinator, responsible for supervising participants in onsite work projects and instructing them in job and life skills. She has a master’s degree in human resource development and organizational development from Friends University, and a bachelor’s degree in communication from Emporia State University.
